The pathetic showing of crowds in Ireland is more indicative of a group of people that simply doesn't give a sh!t anymore.
Dennis Rodman would get a bigger crowd in Ireland than Pope Francis these days.

The comments of that Mexican Cardinal were unbelievably stupid. He acts like the Church has no need of the support of the laity.
He has suggested that victims who accuse priests should be “ashamed” because they too have skeletons in their own closets. Those who “accuse men of the Church should [be careful] because they have long tails that are easily stepped on,” said Cardinal Sergio Obeso Rivera according to a report...
We shall see who's tails get stepped on.
