Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Revelation 2:29)
And He said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)
Father God, we realize that our country is in need of repentance . . .we have lost our way as a nation; and churches and congregants have become examples of those churches that were warned by You in the book of Revelation. There is no place in your kingdom for lukewarm fence sitters. I personally am ashamed and have asked for forgiveness for wasted years and missed opportunities in spreading Your Gospel . . .the Good News that must be shared everywhere.
It is evident that we have watered down theology in our churches. . . Your Word needs to be given top priority. . . there is no place for spiritual compromise. Who is going to teach our children’s children your principles and precepts . . . the world has done a good job of indoctrinating more than two generations of Americans. . . this cannot stand.
Father God, please help us take back America for Your glory and let it begin with repentance and Holy-Spirit led prayer for the souls of the world . . .souls that without Your Gift of Salvation will go to an eternal torturous hell, a forever absence from You. Please put young and old alike in our path and provide us with the words to testify of Your Saving Grace.
We pray that Christians in all facets of our society will wake up to the responsibility of giving You preeminence in their lives. We pray that our President and Vice-President will continue to show their leadership in putting Your Agenda in place for America and for the world to see. Please provide them and others who are trusting in You for their decisions with supernatural protection so that the fiery darts of the enemy will turn back on them. . . exposing their evil plots and plans.
We come asking for Your help, protection and comfort for those who are being victimized by fires and earthquakes and giving strength and protection for those responders who are providing assistance in this time of trouble. We pray also for our troops in harm’s way, removing any hindrance of their proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We pray for the peace and safety of your beloved country Israel/Jerusalem. We know how this all ends to Your Glory. . .You have provided an itemized itinerary in Your Word. Please remove the scales from people’s eyes so that they will be receptive to the Gospel before it is too late.
Thank You for Your Goodness and Mercy. We ask these things in the Precious Name of Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus . . . Amen
