Foundation

He set the earth on its foundations,
so that it should never be moved.
—Psalm 104:5

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The Church’s One Foundation

The Church’s one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord
She is His new creation by water and the Word
From heav'n He came and sought her to be His holy Bride
With His own blood He bought her, and for her life He died

Elect from every nation, yet one o'er all the earth
Her charter of salvation, one Lord, one faith, one birth
One holy Name she blesses, partakes one holy food
And to one hope she presses, with every grace endued

Father God,

Yours alone is the perfect Love, patient and kind; Your Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the Truth; Your Love endures all things; Your Love never ends.

Anyone who does not love does not know You; for You are Love. Just as You set the world on the foundation of Your Love, so also the pilgrims and Founders set the United States on love for You.

Our Constitution and rule of law are a temple for Your Presence among us; for where where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Cor 3:17)

Our freedoms were set on Your firm foundation. But our society has permitted many outbuildings that institutionalize sin. We trust Your Word, Father God, that these are built on shifting sand, and in time will be swept away, blown down, and come to ruin.

Restore in us clean hearts as intercessors for our nation, dear Father, that we may approach Your throne of glory and plead for our nation, in the Name of Your Son, through the Power of Your Holy Spirit.

Remove from among our society, our churches, our government, our universites and schools and our media, we pray, those idolators who attempt to sanctify the unholies: greed, graft, dishonesty, scheming, factionalism, sexual immorality, abortion, false identification, mislabeling, superstition, false gods and trespass under color of law. Our laws were intended to be set on a foundation of Your law. Restore the vision of our Founding, we pray, dear Lord.

Return our homes, families, churches, communities, schools, universities, businesses, charities, and especially our military to the firm foundation of Your Word and Your way, upholding the virtues and shunning the vices Your Word has instructed us in the Holy Bible. Let no other gods come before You in this land.

Guide and protect our President, Vice President, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, and all cabinet members as they redirect our nation back to the virtues of her Foundation. Reshape the Congress in the coming elections according to Your Will, Lord God of hosts, Eternal Father, God of Love.

May the "resistance" become The Renewal and the Rejoicing of our nation in Your name, Almighty Father.
