Many of us "church shop" to find someone who carries a consistent message, stays true to the bible and emphasizes Jesus as part of any service. Too many churches/religions concentrate so much on other extraneous topics that they neglect carrying the Good News and how it relates to the Old Covenant and our own Salvation under the New Covenant.

While I enjoy the music and like some more than others, it isn't near as important as the message being presented....did leave one church for letting youthful music "pastors" get the volume out of hand - it was loud enough to be physically uncomfortable and the main pastor refused to rein them in....lots of us older folks ended up searching for a new church and the one we left ended up folding because we were the larger donators than the younger crowd who liked the "head banger" volume.
