I don’t understand why the Jesuits don’t sanction weird priests like this Father James Martin befuddles me. Going back in time, the weirdos started with the Berrigans. Since their time, there has been lots of others who, instead of concerning themselves with God’s work, they are into political and social issues. The Jesuits now have a bad reputation. It gets worse with people like Father Martin. The order should sit on jerks like him.

Yes, the Berrigans. That was when then Jesuits were falling under the influence of the KGB. Liberation theology was not a Jesuit creation. It was a work of the KGB, from the office directing the dezinformatzion operations. This was described by the Romanian intelligence defector Ion Pacepa.
