ROME, May 18, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) There is a risk that the upcoming synod on youth will bring more difficulties for the Church, Cardinal Raymond Burke said at the Rome Life Forum today, noting there have already been allegations of manipulation.
What can we expect about and after the new synod in October? he was asked. A new storm in the Church? A new ambiguous exhortation? More dubia?
I think simply from a point of human reason, and also from the point of view of Christian morality, if those who organized the synod in 2014 and 2015 have not had a conversion of heart, I think we can expect more difficulties, the cardinal responded bluntly. I see already and I read it also from some young people who have been engaged in the process their perception that the synod is being manipulated to drive forward [a] certain agenda.
The preliminary synod documents can rightly and correctly within the Church be subjected to critical examination, said Cardinal Burke, urging Catholics to be very attentive to each step as [it] goes forward.
Those who are involved with the synod and are thinking rightly and judging correctly situations should be encouraged to speak up and to make their voice heard, he said. They will have to do it perhaps outside of the structure of the synod itself, which can be quite controlling.

Don't let them get near the Church doors in Wittenberg.
Here comes a whole heaping pile of Jorge's "mess".
What church is the Cardinal talking about? The Church, as he knew it, no longer exists. If he thinks otherwise, he is sailing down that famous river in Egypt.
“The synod is being manipulated.” True.
Getting input from citizens is just a cover for a hidden plan to consolidate power. Using a cover to consolidate power is sign of criminal activity. And no, crime does not pay. Losers feel the need to put out the fake need for input from citizens. Like asking an employee for advice about a company minutes before firing the employee. Fake. Disingenuous.
Bergoglio is digging his own grave. Only the Lord has the best plan to get us out of this mess
The "Sexual Revolution" of the sixties accommodated by V II as interpreted put the majority of American Catholics in the same position as the rest of Americans.
As a result of that Revolution the overwhelming majority of the population threw out all self-control and self-discipline leaving themselves, "Eyeless in Gaza at the Mill with slaves . . ."
The manager of an AM radio station once told me he was losing then listeners a day via the obituary column.
Same is happening at the collection basket. Everything we are seeing is a desperate attempt to attract the young and the fallen away back to resume donating.
By any means necessary. Follow the money.
The youth might all have stories about getting diddled by Father Capote, the parish priest.
