The Church tells everybody, men and women, young and old, clerical and lay, gay and straight, that they need to be chaste and celibate. And that means EVERYBODY, unless and until you are a partner in a man-woman marriage.

It's exactly the same moral law for everybody. No discrimination.

And to say that being celibate means "not living fully" is nonsense. Your life is defined by your God, not your genitals.
