It might be better in other parts of the country, where there are more Christians and less neurotic ambition.
They say a Christian should not marry someone with whom they will be “unevenly yoked,” because it will cause problems. I think something like that operates in all relationships between a Christian and a non-Christian, or even between two Christians who are at widely different points in their path.
Exceptions exist, of course.
