“”Meanwhile, here is the response from protestant bishops: “”
Don’t think we have any BISHOPS in protestant denominations.
It’s about time someone spoke up on this issue. Now we need to hear that Biden, the Kennedys, Pelosi, Cantwell, Gillibrand, Collins, Murray and many more will be refused communion. These are the senators and undoubtedly there are untold number of representatives who need the caution..The warning has been given to cause (ahem) them to repent. I say these people are beyond that - way beyond that. There is no decency in a person who believes abortion at ANY TIME is acceptable.

You don’t? I suppose next you’ll be telling me there’s no pews in protestant churches either? Last time I checked, there are TONS of bishops in protestant denominations, including most of the major protestant churches in the United States.
Here are some protestant bishops that oversee their flocks in the same region as Bishop Paprocki:
Right Rev. Daniel Hayden Martin, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Springfield, IL

Rev. Dr. S. John Roth, bishop of the Central/Southern Illinois Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

The Reverend Doctor Frank J. Beard, Bishop of the North Central Jurisdiction, Illinois Great Rivers Conference, of the Methodist Church

Right Rev. Gregory G. M. Ingram, Bishop and presiding prelate of the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church

Bishop Juan L Morrison, head bishop of the Central Illinois Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ

I’m sure these fine protestant leaders in central Illinois will be swiftly issuing decrees banning pro-abortion politicians from receiving communion any day now... right?
Anglicans have an Episcopal polity (their US branch is called the Episcopal Church!) as do Methodists and some Lutherans.
