Fewer than 10% of women who have abortions do so because of fetal abnormality or risk to the woman’s life. I heard, long ago, that only 1 in 200 rape victims ever get pregnant from the crime (Todd Akin was right), so babies resulting from rape likely make up only a small percentage of victims of abortion.
I once knew a woman whose two emergency abortions (for ectopic pregnancy) left her infertile. She nearly died on the second one; a priest actually performed Last Rites for her. She later adopted a baby boy.
How is that even relevant to the issue?
It's really not but the height of hypocrisy is that the left will claim the moral high ground when it comes to a school shooting and demand gun control to protect the very children they are so anxious so slaughter in the womb.
I don't think so. I think that most know it subconsciously, but go through all kinds of mental gymnastics to prevent themselves from ever consciously acknowledging the fact. And the abortion industry goes to a lot of trouble to lie to women. There have been many proposals to stop abortionists from lying to clients, which they fight tooth and nail. If most women who have abortions were fully aware that their babies are alive and suffer horrible agony during the abortion, and were having abortions anyway, the abortion industry would be perfectly willing to be truthful with them.
I've read about some of the tricks abortionists use to deceive clients. They give a sonogram, but purposely make the image so fuzzy that nothing human is recognizable in it. Then they turn the sonogram screen so the client cannot see it and adjust the image resolution to give the high quality images they use to accurately locate the baby to kill it. Sometimes women ask to see the remains, and the abortionist shows them garbage, like egg whites mixed with redwomenwater (which they prepare just for that purpose).
It is a real challenge to force truthfulness from the abortion industry. They deceive for the precise reason that honesty would destroy their industry.
What Would Jesus Do? Kill the baby or not kill the baby? This question separates schools that are Christian and claim to be Christian.

The article is about women bragging about getting abortions.
My comment was in reference to the fact that the Law permitting abortion was based on cases of rape or risk of death to the mother. Even though the principle of the case (Roe vs. Wade) was completely lying about the rape part.
So.... why are these women bragging about doing something that is technically illegal ?
NOW that is a phrase that could be used about anyone(or everyone) these days. : )

Did you ever wonder what would happen if doctors actually followed their Hippocratic Oath and refused to do abortions ?

Why do the same people who ban capital punishment for murderers fight to keep unlimited abortion of innocent babies ?
Although I agree with your conclusion, I disagree with your premise.
Legal abortion is based on Roe vs. Wade, and the rape/death case was the premise for when it was permitted.
The abortion crowd claims women have the right to an abortion due to rape or likelihood of death to the mother during childbirth.
So... how many cases of abortion involve that? I asked, and I got at least a rough answer to the question. Very few.
As to those few cases, the decision on whether to do it should depend on the mother, a doctor, and a religious counselor. I would not want to be any one of the three.
What these folks are doing, especially those who pretend to speak in the name of Christ, is a prescription for an eternal disaster. May God have mercy on their souls.

I agree with you. The real problem, whether it be a case of rape or danger of death to the mother or just convenience, is that society our society no longer cares about morality.
It may be considered, by us peons, immoral to steal money donated for disaster relief and have sex with the children who are homeless, but our ruling elite do it with a smile and then grill hot dogs over the burning coals of Christian churches.
