Stand Up For Bump
That’s not love, it’s lust. People confuse those two words a lot now. It won’t last long, it never does.
When you play with the devil and you are employed by the church, nothing good can come of it. Say bye bye.
She was fired because she openly defied Catholic teaching. She would have been fired had she stollen from the school or broken any other rule of employment.
First grade children! “Jane has 2 mommies.” School made absolutely the right choice, God help the brainwashed parents (wouldn’t they be millennials?) to understand.
So what? No one should be required to associate or work with a homosexual, and no homosexual should be in a position of authority or leadership.
“I once asked if the New Testament ever used eros in a positive context. I have not received an answer.”
It is better to marry than to burn. Don’t know the Greek, but that would seem to imply that eros has its place.
DUMBASS PARENTS!!! They should THANK GOD that the lesbian is not teaching their 6 year olds that GAY SEX IS FINE!
If I read all of this correctly, she isn’t a Catholic at all.
You are not a Christian just because you go to church, no more than you are a car if you sleep in the garage.
She obviously does not believe what the Bible says, so she is not Catholic nor Christian.
That doesn’t answer my question. Does that sentence even use the word “eros”?
Again, how does one “be gay” at work?
What would the homosexual peeps and supporters say if a teacher was fired for positing the idea that their behavior and lifestyle were a sin and they should repent?
Oh I know, they would run them out of the public square. They would be lucky to find work at Hobby Lobby.
“That doesnt answer my question. Does that sentence even use the word eros?”
You know, that line of argumentation is extremely unsatisfying, intellectually speaking.
Concepts can often be communicated, and conclusions rendered necessary, without the use of a specific word. We are made in God’s image. He gave us reason, and He expects us to use it.
Your question is meaningless.
That is irrelevant to this situation. But should that happen to you where you work then I would assume you're free to find another job? Nobody will force you to work with a homosexual or have one as a manager.
“That is irrelevant to this situation.”
Not at all. If she complains that she was fired for being homosexual, the answer is “Yes, and that is not only appropriate, it is a moral necessity.”
“But should that happen to you where you work then I would assume you’re free to find another job?
So evil is to be advantaged, and those who object cast out? That’s unacceptable.
“Nobody will force you to work with a homosexual or have one as a manager.”
Unless you want to eat, and possibly feed your family. We have laws that put each of us at risk of being forced to work with or otherwise endure the proximity of sodomites. That is a great moral wrong.
