This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

Praised, honored, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (1 Peter 1:3)

Father, we pray today for President Trump and his hard-working staff and family. We apply some of Your promises to them with our faith today.

**Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].
**And this is a cause of our mentioning you with pride among the churches (assemblies) of God for your steadfastness (your unflinching endurance and patience) and your firm faith in the midst of all the persecutions and crushing distresses and afflictions under which you are holding up. This is positive proof of the just and right judgment of God to the end that you may be deemed deserving of His kingdom, for the sake of which you are also suffering.
**But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.
** But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin],
**But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.
**For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
**The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me
**(May the God of Peace) equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Father God, You have called them by Your grace. You have equipped and are continuing to equip them, and we trust that You will cause them to be a success. As long as they have Your favor, they don't need the favor of the world. However, as we have prayed for an outpouring of Your Spirit in our Nation, we believe that multitudes are coming to the knowledge of the Truth that Jesus is Lord. We know by personal experience that this will result in discernment and understanding of Your ways of doing and being right. The fruit of this will be more favor for our President and his staff and family.

All glory to You and to increasing our understanding of Your ways of success. Continue to teach us to pray. We bless You in Jesus' name. Amen.

Help us! Hear our plea! We echo the cries of King David...

O Lord, oppose those who oppose PRESIDENT TRUMP, those who are falsely accused, and those who suffer for Your Name’s sake. Fight those who fight against them. Put on Your armor, and take up Your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to their aid. Lift up Your spear and javelin against those who pursue them. Let us hear you say, “I will give them victory!”

Then we will rejoice in the Lord. We will be glad because He rescues His people. With every bone in our bodies we will praise Him: “Lord, who can compare with You? (PSALM 35:1-3; 9-10)

Lifting up President Trump - shield him from attacks on all front, grant him Wisdom from above, strength and courage to do the right thing.

May Providence move the voters in the mid-terms to elect men and women who fear the Lord.

Likewise, may judges do the right thing and be unspotted from politics.
