Saint Joseph has helped thousands of people to sell their homes and other real estate. The biggest part of this help is to give you faith in Saint Joseph and yourself; the belief that you now will sell your house with the help and blessing of St Joseph. So if you need help to sell your real estate or another house please read more on our St Joseph Statue homepage.
St Joseph is mostly common buried upside down facing the house. Some say that this tradition goes back from what is called the degradation of the saints. At that time the tradition was that you threatened the saints by burying them and with that saying to the saints I will keep you with your head down in the dirt until you sell my house for me. Now days, the tradition to bury a statue of St Joseph is still the same, but its not very common to threaten him, instead we pray to his good will and pray that he will help us with a fast, smooth and profitable sale.

Looks as if a little leaven has gotten into the mix. ;-)
Probably rooted in ethnic traditions dating back to pagan times.
It worked for us. House sold within a week after no action for some time.
No idea where it came from but I did it and my house sold in 2 weeks
Pagan superstition, as many Roman practices - temples/churches devoted to specific saints, making saints into demigods and demigoddesses, etc.
Nothing new here.
I’ve heard of this before. I wondered if there was a saint in charge of helping you FIND the house you want.
I did this, my land hasn’t sold yet, two years later.
Believe it or not.
Good advice. :)
What if you want your wife to do something and she doesn’t...
And I thought we were going to be reading about ways to plant the flag, so to speak.
What does your question have to do with the article?
Out of curiosity....Roman Catholics believe Mary can hear/answer every prayer and that she has appeared as an apparition who promises to give the Roman Catholic everything they ask through recitation of the Rosary....why do they do this then?
Spanish and/or South America type superstition crosses Christianity. Yes for real that people do this. It’s not biblical.
Superstition.
.
This is crazy. The first time I ever heard of this was this past Saturday by my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Now today, and I’m Catholic.
