Rubashkin’s business was failing.

He had three lawful choices. Close it. Fix it. Or find another job.

Unfortunately, Rubashkin did not want to give up his affluent lifestyle or give up the independence of being a business owner.

He made the fourth choice...

He borrowed $27 million he knew he could not repay.

I did not know it was a crime to borrow money even if you could not pay it back.

But of course if he borrowed it from you I can see where
you would be pretty sore.
