The common teaching is God created the universe out of “nothing”. The Scriptures teach otherwise, saying that everything visible and invisible in the universe came out of Him, even His own Son.

Ro 11:36 seeing that out of Him and through Him and for Him is all: to Him be the glory for the eons! Amen!

Jn 8:42 Jesus, then, said to them, “If God were your Father, you would have loved Me. For out of God I came forth and am arriving. For neither have I come of Myself, but He commissions Me.

1C 11:12 For even as the woman is out of the man, thus the man also is through the woman, yet all is out of God.

The Logos, the Christ of God, created everything by the power of His God and Father. He relinquished that power when becoming the incarnate only-begotten Son of God, becoming the Head of a new race, the new humanity created in His image.

Phl 2:6-11 (Jesus Christ) Who, being inherently in the form of God, deems it not pillaging to be equal with God,
nevertheless empties Himself, taking the form of a slave, coming to be in the likeness of humanity,
