Washington’s Metro has rejected a Catholic ad campaign that promotes “spiritual giving” instead of presents, arguing that the image of stars, shepherds and sheep promotes religion, a violation of the transit system’s rules.
The Archdiocese of Washington told Secrets that the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority turned down a request to promote its “Find the Perfect Gift” initiative because the image “depicts a religious scene and thus seeks to promote religion,” although it does not include a manger scene, Christ figure or even a cross.

Make all these godless Government tasbards work on Dec 25th since they fight against others freedoms in celebrating its true meaning.
They’re too busy planning their “Christmas” parties they can’t work that holiday.
Either Christmas is a Christian holiday, or it isn’t anything.
Ergo, in the latter case, then remove the holiday from the calendar altogether and make it a regular workday.
And accept no complaints from federal workers.

Well, better prohibit folks from looking up at night.
In the case of these Catholics, the DC Metro would lose in court on first amendment grounds, and on several levels of the first amendment at that. However given that there is no penalty for violating the constitution, these leftists force litigating this time and time again, year after year.
The left is tenacious in their hatred of the Constitution and in their hatred of God.
As someone else posted earlier, these bureaucrats should work Christmas day since it is a religious holiday.

The First Amendment protect freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion, Bozo.
