Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP/VICE PRESIDENT MIKE PENCE and AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled "Prayer" are closed to debate of any kind. ================================
We continue today in prayer for our Nation, for President-elect Trump and his staff and for each member of our Armed Forces. And now [brethren], we commit them to You, God. We deposit them in Your charge, entrusting them to Your protection and care. And we commend them to the Word of Your grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of Your unmerited favor]. It is able to build them up and to give them their rightful inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones." (Acts 20:32) Father, each soul in our Nation needs a Word from You that will direct him in his proper God-blessed course. We ask You to send that Word that will be healing to each one.
We are so grateful for the grace that has given us a Nation in which Your Word can continue to have free course.
We ask for Your hand of protection against those men and women who have been sent by You to right the wrong direction in which we were headed. Give Your angels charge concerning them and let no weapon or tongue that might attempt to rise up against them stumble and fall.
We pray for those journalists who have abandoned their assignment to report and not attempt to influence. In Prov. 17:20, You say, " He who has a wayward and crooked mind finds no good, and he who has a willful and contrary tongue will fall into calamity." We don't pray for calamity, but we pray for a removal of the veil that has kept them separated from Truth and Righteousness. Enlighten their eyes and cause them to use their skills for Your use. Let it be said by them, "My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to a King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer."
Thank You, Sir, for answering our prayers today in the name of Jesus. We are so very grateful to You. Amen.

To the leader. A Psalm of David.
1 Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint;
preserve my life from the dread enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
from the scheming of evildoers,
3 who whet their tongues like swords,
who aim bitter words like arrows,
4 shooting from ambush at the blameless;
they shoot suddenly and without fear.
5 They hold fast to their evil purpose;
they talk of laying snares secretly,
thinking, ‘Who can see us?*
6 Who can search out our crimes?*
We have thought out a cunningly conceived plot.’
For the human heart and mind are deep.
7 But God will shoot his arrow at them;

FATHER GOD,
Thank You for seeing us through during these perilous times. May we always be mindful of Your OPNIPOTANCE and OMNIPRESENCE. Thank You we can run to You, SHELTER and STRONG TOWER.
We stand upon Your faithful Promises in PSALM 91, our umbrella of protection:
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
He is my God, and I trust Him.
3 For He will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with His feathers.
He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.

to protect you wherever you go.

you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me.
I will protect those who trust in My name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them My salvation.”

Father God, we lift up this nation, our leadership, our failing education systems, and our local and personal problems. We surrender to You, for protection, for wisdom, for guidance and for mercy.
We thank You for all You have done, all that will be done. We trust You. We love You. And we thank You that You have called us to fellowship with You.
We especially thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, in His name we do pray
