Join us in prayer for our beloved country and for our worldwide family of believers.
Almighty God, we pray today for an island of peace in our minds and our lives in the midst of the chaos that surrounds us every day. Christianity and Christians are under attack from many sides, and we need the strength that comes from our Father to remain steadfast in the fight.
Help loyal Americans to cut the wheat from the chaff, see what truly needs changing in our beloved country, and also to see what is simply noise and disruption for the sake of an agenda of evil.
We pray for our President, he is more under siege every day. We pray for his strength, because the pressures that besiege him must be enormous. Protect him from his enemies, give him wise counsel from others. Lead him to understand his need to approach his Father for guidance, as with all of us.
Guide us through this day that has been given to us, and help us to see what we can do in this day to glorify Your name, and bring good into our world.

Of David, when he feigned madness before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away.

17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears,
and rescues them from all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the broken-hearted,
and saves the crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord rescues them from them all.
20 He keeps all their bones;
not one of them will be broken.
21 Evil brings death to the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
