The dog and teens in a candle lit basement.
I’m sorry that I don’t understand or fall for it but believe that it’s real to you. I cared for and watched both my parents die and saw a wonderful thing happen as they died. It was peaceful and spiritual for me, their passing.
I also dreamed of my Dad many times since he passed in 1999. I think dreams are what’s on our mind. My Dad in our house he’s never seen sitting at the table in his usual spot. But once I go to hug him, he’s not there anymore and I wake up. And my Mom, the night before my daughter’s wedding, I dreamed of her helping with getting my daughter ready for the wedding. Probably because she always said she wanted to live long enough to see all my daughters weddings. And she saw this wedding even though she wasn’t physically there.
But it’s more what’s in or on my mind than anything else.
You could probably say the same about my experiences with my parents’ deaths and dreams.
True. Always read or be aware of what your kids are doing no matter how hard it is. Even then, stuff happens that you have no control over. Raising kids is hard! I’ve been fortunate. Even those parents who do everything they can, have kids who stray.
Karma is fake. The whole idea of Karma, which isn’t a Christian belief, is fake. It’s Hindu and Buddhist belief that’s crossed over to mainstream. It has no basis in Christianity.
“People dont understand it though - it doesnt literally mean what goes around comes around although it kind of does”
Yeah, again, no basis in Christianity. A lot that goes around, comes around and just as much doesn’t. So “it doesn’t literally mean but it kind of does.” You are free to believe it, I don’t.
And it breaks into a zillion pieces when dropped.
Only weak minded people are deceived by magic or silly board games.I can’t believe anyone who believes Christ is our Savior believes in magic or demons. Yes, kids are susceptible but they’re susceptible to everything. Parents are there, or should be there, to counteract that.
Chestnut Hill? My two oldest wanted to go last year but couldn’t and again this year. It’s mostly a party like the Star Wars fans or concerts or whatever the newest fad is.
Beanie Babies, silly bandz, tomacatchi, Build a Bear, etc. Kids become attached then move on and adults keep it going.
Keep telling yourself that.
Then I guess Jesus and the apostles were weak minded people, eh?
After all, Jesus cast out demons and the apostles wrote about them.
Must be nice to know more than them.
Or the Holy Spirit.
Do you regularly teach God how things are and how they are supposed to be? Or do you just presume to know more than God?
