The Rock on Which Our Republic Rests

Prayer

Holy, Gracious, Almighty Father,

In You we place our faith. In Your Word we find Salvation. In You we trust.

We come before You with praise and with thanks for the great abundance of our national life, in spite of treachery, fire, storms and terrorism.

We lift up to you in faith our nation's present and future, that with Your Grace, Mercy, Power and Peace we might be a sovereign nation under God once again—the One God Jehovah, the God of our Founding Fathers.

Restore our People, we pray, that they might be always ready to meet every circumstance with faith in Your redeeming Hand.

Restore our institutions, Father God, so that our families, places of worship, military, schools, businesses, media and all levels of government may return to faith in Your Providence before and above all else.

We lift up our President, Vice President and all their staff, allies, supporters and family members for Your Divine Intercession. Protect and use them as You will, Lord God Almighty, for the benefit of the United States of America, and for the world who looks to us as a nation of freedom. Keep our leaders strong in faith.

We pray in faith for a cleansing of the forces of Satan afflicting some individuals and systems within our Congress, our economic sector, media and universities. In Your Name we humbly ask that You rebuke the powers of darkness from our land!

Turn away the delusions and oppressions of tyrannical ideology, Father, so that our children may once again learn the lessons of faith that created this nation, and participate joyfully in making America great again.

Restore and replenish our weary military, first responders and health care givers, Lord, we pray; and extend Your tender mercies to all believers devastated by recent events. May their witness of faith bring a harvest of new believers in Your Saving Grace.

Father God, if it is Your will, may the institutions that promote The Lie and corrupt our values - the media, Hollywood, schools and universities - may these institutions be hobbled. May we no longer be bombarded with propaganda. Clear the delusion, Lord, that when we look out upon this land, all we are looking for You and all that is good and right. Oh Lord, may the people no longer give an ear to the enemy. May we surrender to You.

We pray for those in leadership who have given their lives to Jesus. Give them understanding that the Greater One indwells them and that they can do ALL things through You, who strengthens and enables them. May they truly live, breathe and have their being in You. As You order their steps, everything to which they set their hands will prosper.

Thank You for exposing evil. Let that exposure be released to all our citizens. We pray for a Nation ruled by law and righteousness. As lawbreakers come to justice, we will give You the glory. Thank You for those bold and strong enough to shout evil doings from the housetops. Raise up those in authority with the same strength to take swift action. It is in You alone we trust. Amen.
