"Glad to see the Msgr get it about there is no other way except through Christ.... This completely wipes out any reliance upon Mary for anything....including salvation and/or answered prayers."

You are misled or misleading, my friend. Yes, Christ is the only Way to salvation. But your inaccurate restatement , actually a counter-statement ("This completely wipes out...") completely wipes out the Body of Christ, which is the Communion of Saints, believers, who need each other:

1 Corinthians 12:21
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you,” or the head to the feet, “I don’t need you

And it completely wipes out the very lifeblood of the Body of Christ, which is our love and prayers for one another in Christ:

James 5:16
"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

We -- you, me, and Mary too ---are members of Christ. And Christ does it all.

Not per the Roman Catholic sources I noted.

But your inaccurate restatement , actually a counter-statement ("This completely wipes out...") completely wipes out the Body of Christ, which is the Communion of Saints, believers, who need each other:

The statement applies to those believers on earth.

And it completely wipes out the very lifeblood of the Body of Christ, which is our love and prayers for one another in Christ: James 5:16 "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

As long as the righteous person is praying to God.
