The Synod Gang Prepares Another Mugging of the Church

Phony Synod III Update:
Let's ask "young people" what Jesus wants!

by Christopher A. Ferrara
September 23, 2017

Cardinal Lorenzo (“the book thief”) Baldisseri

There was never any doubt, of course, that the next Phony Synod, entitled “Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment,” would be another attack on Catholic moral teaching. Phony Synod 2018 will follow up on the last Phony Synod’s carefully stage-managed dog-and-pony show concealing a preconceived intent to accommodate divorce and “remarriage” in the Church, overthrowing in practice the Church’s bimillenial prohibition on Holy Communion for public adulterers living in “second marriages.”

Phony Synod 2018 will be headed by Cardinal Lorenzo (“the book thief”) Baldisseri, whose brute manipulation of the proceedings of the “Synod on the Family” (including the confiscation of the “Five Cardinals Book” defending the Church’s traditional teaching on marriage) sparked an open rebellion led by Cardinal Pell.  (In the end, however, Pope Francis obtained the result he wanted from the beginning by publishing Amoris Laetitia.)

A mere two sentences from the preparatory document for Phony Synod 2018 suffice to warn us that the Church is in for another mugging:

“As in the days of Samuel (cf. 1 Sam 3:1-21) and Jeremiah (cf. Jer 1:4-10), young people know how to discern the signs of our times, indicated by the Spirit. Listening to their aspirations, the Church can glimpse the world which lies ahead and the paths the Church is called to follow. (Intro)”

Yes, that’s right, Baldisseri and the gang are going to “listen to young people” instruct their elders on what the Church should do. At least that is the cover story.  In truth, however, they are going to pretend to “listen to young people” while preparing to execute the plan they have no doubt already put in place for the next compromise of Catholic teaching.  And they certainly will not be listening to the young people who are flocking to traditional Latin Masses and seeking the authentic faith of their fathers.  These young people, Francis declares, are “rigid” and have some sort of emotional disorder for which one must “dig, dig” in order to understand what these rigid youths are “hiding.”

Phony Synod 2018 is employing the previous modus operandi of a tendentious online “preparatory questionnaire,” answered by any Tom, Dick or Harry that logs in. This fake survey is being used to inform us that “young people” want changes, big changes, in the Church.  As the Spanish website Religion Digital reports:

“Many of the young faithful still see the Church as a ‘place of prohibitions.’ That is one of conclusions of a first sieve of the responses to the preparatory questionnaire for the 2018 Synod of Bishops on ‘young people, faith and vocational discernment,’ according to its general secretary, Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri.”

Baldisseri is quoted as follows: “We need to look at young people not only to help us understand how to proclaim the Gospel, but also to have a better understanding of what Jesus demands of his Church, what he expects of it, what must be excised [extirpated, removed] for such a mission.”

So, according to The Book Thief, the anonymous “young people” (do we really know how old they are?) who completed an online survey don’t like all those “prohibitions” in the Church, and they are telling us what Jesus wants done — especially what “he” wants the Church to get rid of.

Here we go again, as the apostasy in the Church reaches its culmination in a final confrontation with the devil over marriage and family, just as Sister Lucia warned the late Cardinal Caffarra in light of the Third Secret of Fatima.

And yet there is hope in this development:  at this very moment in Church history, the devil is overreaching, thereby provoking a growing reaction among the faithful who see the ongoing synodal fraud for what it is. And the Virgin, Sister Lucia reminded us, has already crushed the serpent’s head.  All events are aligning for the final Triumph of the Immaculate Heart that will follow upon the Consecration of Russia, though that may have to come amidst very dramatic events for the Church and all of humanity.

So we have two alternatives:

1. Christ in His Church follows the aspirations of young people:

“Listening to their aspirations, the Church can glimpse the world which lies ahead and the paths the Church is called to follow.”

or:

2. Young people like Thomas aspire to follow Christ:

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way ...

Sorry, but I had to hit the abuse button on your post since it mentions other religions on a Catholic Caucus thread, which is against forum rules.
