Why not just make the whole prayer book religion neutral?

And the destruction of Christianity proceeds apace...

I never thought our society was so fragile. We faught a civil war and world wars and America will collapse without a shot fired. This all stems from gay marriage and that has become the Trojan Horse. A side effect of America rejecting Christianity as founded, will bring societal rot to fill the vacuum and Islam.

The Episcopal Church might as well change the Bible... oh, look, they already have.

The Episcopal church will continue to have ceremonies and parties; they just won’t be real marriages any more.

It is not a problem while on Earth for man to think they can change God’s laws, but come judgment day some will find God did not change his laws and he over rules their changes

After the vandalization of the 1928 Prayer Book, why would anyone be surprised at any desecration by the Episcopal Church?

Although alternative “gender-neutral” rites are available on a trial basis,

Marriage vows between Thing 1 and Thing 2.

The Book of Common Prayer

Blessing of the Marriage

Most gracious God, we give you thanks for your tender love
in sending Jesus Christ to come among us, to be born of a
human mother, and to make the way of the cross to be the
way of life. We thank you, also, for consecrating the union of man and woman in his Name. By the power of your Holy Spirit, pour out the abundance of your blessing upon this man and this woman. Defend them from every enemy. Lead
them into all peace. Let their love for each other be a seal upon their hearts, a mantle about their shoulders, and a crown upon their foreheads. Bless them in their work and in their companionship; in their sleeping and in their waking; in their joys and in their sorrows; in their life and in their death.

Finally, in your mercy, bring them to that table where your
saints feast for ever in your heavenly home; through Jesus
Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

I'm glad I'm a Mormon.

Acts 5
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

I look to the promise of God that if it's the work of men it will eventually die out. Which means it wasn't His from the start.

What you're seeing happen in the world today is prophesy fulfilled. All the false religions are imploding. I look at it all and just marvel at the fore knowledge and wisdom of God.

I know you may not like it and it may collide with your accepted notions of doctrine and your preferred church...but you at least have to admit that the prophesy is real and from God.
