The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in. There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone. In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction. When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.(Isaiah 24:10-13)

Isaiah predicted the end times horrors in his mini apocalypse(Isaiah 24-26), and it seems that we are currently living it. The city of man, that highly technological, godless, post christian. post World War 2 civilization which has rapidly spread throughout the world, has become a city of confusion. Joy has been darkened, a cloud of terror has descend upon us, and our once vibrant cities of mirth are rapidly sobering up as the truth dawns upon us, that our “Elite leaders don’t have a clue” and certainly do not have our back!

I think God may have been doing a little play on words here,”In the city is left desolation”.
We have been through a lot worse than this in my lifetime, and we survived it.
Just saying...
Don’t think this has anything to do with “the west.”
