With bishops like these, who needs Muslims?
Rapid as the Muslim advance in Europe has been, it has never been as rapid as the Christian retreat.
Deutcheland ist vorbei. (Germany is over.)
People who live in post-Christian European societies cannot resist the virulent and aggressive political system of Islam through secular means. The only way to resist Islam is by returning to Christian roots.
While secular progressives would rather die than do that, but in the end Bible prophecy says that they will. Thus the Roman Church will be elevated and the ruling elites will depend upon it’s influence over the European nations. As much as they will hate the Pope, they will depend upon him for their ability to stay in power.
Turning them into mosques in 5... 4... 3...
Ping.
Priest shortage is root cause
The Church is doing well in the RC heartland of Bavaria
While the priest shortage is an issue, I see the same dynamic at work here in the northeastern US where a cluster of 5-10 parishes has the same number of baptisms, weddings, and funerals as one parish had 50 years ago. The 96% closure might just be caused by a previous bishop refusing to officially close parishes that had in fact become empty museums anyway.
“Lebe wohl, Deutschland. Du bist fertig. Das Ende ist da.”
(Farewell, Germany, you’re finished. The end is here.)
germany also has the ‘church tax’ issue. one checks off a box when filing one’s taxes in Germany and they subtract more for your church. It can be as little as a couple hundred or as much as a couple thousand.
many young people do not want the extra subraction, so they get kicked out of their church.
Du hast recht. Leiber Gott.
And this is the way the whole Church is heading under this Pope. The Church in Germany might as well close up shop and call it a day.

Ja, und das ist eine furchtbare Schade.
Ja. Enie verdamndet(sp?) schade.
I believe this.
He has access to the original!
I’ve read about that; an interesting concept. Sounds like you pay a tithe if you’re registered to a specific denomination. Not sure what the penalty is for not paying; refusal of sacraments?
penalty for not paying is you can’t get married, baptized, etc at church
I see; thank you for clarifying!
Exactly.
