1 In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian kingdom—
2 in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years.
3 So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.
4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:
“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,
5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.
7 “Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you.
8 We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you.
9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;
10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets.
11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. “Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you.
12 You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing on us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem.
13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth.
14 The Lord did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him.
15 “Now, Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong.
16 Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us.
17 “Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary.
18 Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.
19 Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.

Oh my Lord and Father in Heaven, We praise You for Your precious Word that gives us instruction and wisdom as we humble ourselves before You. Let Daniel's mighty prayer be a powerful learning tool as a historical lesson. May we Your Church confess our sin and bow humbly at Your feet. Let us grieve over the disobedience that has risen in our own hearts as well as our nation.
There is such evilness closing in all around us. The same as in the Days of Noah as well as the days of Lot. Let this be a time of waking up, a time of purification.
Lord, You are pure and holy. You desire Your people called after Your name to be holy as well. You Father have given us all we need to be holy. We are indwelt by Your Holy Spirit who teaches us Your ways, we have Your Word and judgments which are illuminated by the Holy Spirit and we have Jesus praying for us and His example before us. In spite of all You have given to us we fall and disobey. Give us a quicker response to our own sin so we can repent.
Let us be bold in our prayer requests knowing that You are the Almighty God and You have declared what will be, and whom the Son set's free is free indeed" We have been purchased by Christ so we may walk after Him in victory knowing He won the war on our behalf.
Our nation is sin sick with defilement and while we may not approve fully, we have grown too comfortable here on this earth. More comfortable than we like to admit. Forgive us this day for turning our back to You.
May we get up off our comfort zones and seek first the kingdom of God, so our testimony that lasts as long as a breath may bear much fruit. Oh Lord that we would appreciate the incredible testimony You have uniquely gifted us each with and may it be used to bring others into the fold while the time of harvest is at hand.
Teach us to love stronger, endure greater and hope more for Your name sake. May many more souls be added to the number because of the glorious work being wrought in us, In Jesus Name, Amen

Grant God’s people a heart of repentance. Fill us with Your Spirit. Spark revival and healing in our land.
Give us a hunger for Your Word. And the desire to do Your will through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord God Almighty,
How grateful we are that you are the Almighty God, the Great I Am that I AM..... yet to this we do feel small before you Lord, as it is and should be...and yet still we are so full of greatfulness that you are ‘OUR’ ALmighty God...’Our’ Heavenly Father......and that all our concerns you care so about. So to this we come.....
Father there are so many political battles raging that it is often difficult to know what is actually happening for real from one day to the next as the propaganda floods our media at every turn as we seek for the truth. But you do know the truth Lord so we ask that you give us ears to hear and eyes to see, discernment and understanding of what you would have to to know....
What we do know and believe Lord is you have given us a strong leader to fight for this country and it’s people.....despite the fog of war surrounding him he moves forward..and with this those who have stood by to act on his behalf. ...We lift all of them to you Lord to do as you will...to strengthen the relations you have appointed for such and to arm them with all the tools and understanding they need to accomplish the work you have given them to do.
Lord we know this Presidency is not the normal...we didn’t want it to be.... rather one which would topple the corruption and evil that has infiltrated the governance of this country and moved it down a trajectory we did not want to go..... Give us all great patience as our leaders undertake that work.....help us to remember that what we see and hear is often not what is the realty these men and women face on a daily..... Give us your strong arm of support to support and stand with our leaders so that when all is said and done we might once again be one nation , under God....with a people willing to be so.
We ask this ...thanking you now for what you have done and will be doing in the days ahead....

Heavenly Father,
My greatest prayer is that You would engulf our nation and all who claim to follow Christ in a sweeping movement of Your Spirit. My prayer is that You would revive Christians, starting with me, and that this new breath of Your Spirit would awaken new and old believers to a fresh, deepening love for Christ. And let that revival lead to the salvation of millions of Americans who are presently blinded by Satan. Rip the blinders off so that they can bask in Your glorious light.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20, 21

HOLY FATHER We pray that this man, our new President, will not be martyred for having the courage to do Your Will. Please see he has the tools needed to carry on, doing Your will, bringing this nation up from her knees. Bless him, Father. Strike down his enemies, our enemies; those known and those who claim to be friendly.
