Father, Most Wonderful and gracious God, we are here to honor You and to bless You by being obedient to Your charge for us to pray for those in authority. You would never tell us to do something that would not be fruitful. In anticipation, we rejoice because You are answering those prayers that You are telling us to pray! It is truly all about You, Sir. What a marvelous God we serve.
There is a heavenly battle raging for the souls of our citizens, but You are the GREATER ONE and Your power in us is greater than any weapon formed against us.
First of all, we see the President, his family and staff as servants who love You and this Nation You established. This is an absolute answer to our prayers, and we are so very grateful to You. We steadfastly stand with You and them against the forces ranged against them.
Your Word says, Blessed [morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness] are you when people hate you, and exclude you [from their fellowship], and insult you, and scorn your name as evil because of [your association with] the Son of Man. (Luke 6:22). We agree with Your Word and declare that they are blessed. As Your servants, we thank You that no weapon formed against them prospers, that You are leading them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake, that You are always leading them in Your triumph in Christ Jesus and that they have favor with God and man. We pray that You would complete that work that You have begun in them and never, ever be deceived to follow another way. May it never be said of this administration that they were not steadfast in seeking Your righteousness and Your way. Grant that their prayers would always be: Turn to me, and be gracious to me; Grant Your strength [Your might and the power to resist temptation] to Your servant, And save the son of Your handmaid. and Give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I may go out and come in [performing my duties] before this people, for [otherwise] who can rule and administer justice to this great people of Yours?”
We pray for Ivanka and Jared Kushner to find Jesus as Messiah. Holy Spirit, by Your grace, enlighten the eyes of their understanding and send them the Word that they need in order to understand Jesus as Lord.
Thank You, Sir, for all You are doing for these servants of Yours. We worship and thank You in the name of Jesus. Amen.
