Doesn’t that put a different flavor to the normal quote from Gandhi which is “Hate the sin, love the sinner”

Jesus demonstrated hating or rejecting the sin while loving the sinner when he broke up the stoning of the hated whore and then told her to go and sin no more. He loved her life. He hated her sin.
