Get ready for the unleashing of the hounds of hell on you. But I will stand with you.
Not only do I believe Pilate was forgiven but so was Judas. And Jesus left it up to Judas to tell the others what he would do because he had to do it .... It was his destiny.

I think Judas committed suicide which isn’t really a ringing endorsement for the Kingdom (unless there are extenuating circumstances outside the norm).

Yup. The events surrounding Mark 8:33 lets one know it was time for him to die. Pilate or no Pilate.

Thanks Terry.
I'm not sure about Judas, but I'll never pass judgement on him. It's not my place. But when the Roman's came for Jesus, Judas consciously made the choice to betray the Savior. And he knew exactly who Jesus was... The Roman's would have found Jesus no matter what. I mean they could have just asked, Jesus wasn't hiding and this was planned from the beginning. If they were having trouble finding Him, Jesus would have gone to them.
But Judas was paid money for his betrayal. It's different for someone that does something in complete ignorance and those that are doing so knowing full well what they are doing.
Honestly his situation makes me sad.
