I’ve seen some spirited church discussions before, but I’ve never seen a table thrown.
In other news, Jesus called two of his disciples the sons of thunder, because they got angry. The body of Christ isn’t always on the same page.
The problem here is the controversial pastor. He is allowing a rift in the church. Probably even promoting it for his own gain and not looking out for the good of the church.
And I say that, and I didn’t even read the article or know the church.
Of course, being Methodists, you would be sharing a pot luck dinner in the church basement while the mortician was cleaning up the mess.
