O Father, mankind desperately needs Your intervention. We spin wildly out of control when left to our own devices. Most Lord, would scoff at such a declaration as this, but my precious Lord You have taught me how much we need You. Remove Lord, the empty confidence that man can muster in himself. When the need to look beyond ourselves arises we can be teachable. Suffering in our hearts and bodies is a school master for some, but many are enraged at the thought of God allowing pain to come their way. Lord, they need to know You. Break down whatever barriers there may be because of loss and send healing from You.
Please Lord, send Your all consuming power that removes self centeredness. The deep selfishness that ignores the love of a Father for a wayward civilization, that would commission His own Son to a rescue plan. Such a plan would require selflessness and humility that the world has never seen. Lord, let mankind put themselves in 2nd place, long enough to see the greatest act of love ever put on display in Jesus our Messiah.
Father, let a renewed sense of awe grip the hearts of professing believers everywhere. We would ask You to search our hearts and show us the sin that is lurking. Sin that is hiding the incredible revelation You have for Your Bride. May Your Church stand to it's feet and then fall on her face before a holy and loving God. May You get the glory that belongs to You from Your Church. May a renewed sense of revival move us to prepare our lamps. That we fill these lamps with oil and be prepared every minute to meet our Bridegroom. He is Worthy, Holy, Immutable, Gracious, Loving to receive the honor that is due Him from His Bride. He gave it all for us, let us give Him what belongs to Him.
May the world around us see our love for our Savior and the love for each other and be convicted of sin. Lord, may the church in the USA recommit themselves to their Beloved, Jesus. May we pray more earnestly, serve more diligently and love more freely this hurt and dying world we live in. May professing Christians who have not grown in their relationship with You be confronted with their lack of devotion and dangerous position. May they no longer rely on their methods and habits in lieu of an abiding friendship with the greatest Gift ever given. May the fruit and rewards of a thriving relationship with Jesus be immediate and overwhelmingly a statement of their current precarious state.
For all in areas of leadership throughout our nation bow their knee to the King of kings. May the National Day of Prayer this Thursday be an opportunity for Your people to testify of their precious Lord. May lives be quickened and eternities changed. May You alone get the glory that belongs to You alone. In Jesus name I pray.

Sin, Confession and Redemption
1 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
nor his ear too dull to hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated
you from your God;
your sins have hidden his face from you,
so that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are stained with blood,
your fingers with guilt.
Your lips have spoken falsely,
and your tongue mutters wicked things.
4 No one calls for justice;
no one pleads a case with integrity.
They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies;

and the helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on the garments of vengeance
and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

Father as we are learning more about this new presidency, we're finding out he takes in very little sleep and makes calls to world leaders in the wee hours when the rest of us sleep.
We pray for provision from heaven to be his (Pres.T) portion as he seeks wisdom on all matters of government, be they foreign or domestic.
Place the mantle of God's authority squarely on his shoulders and let there be many that are willing, even in the night season, Lord to hold up his arms in the battle.
Give him Your strength, let him seek you out as Solomon has, and not asking for riches, but rather wisdom to rule this great and vast country.
Speak to him, Lord, visit him in the night season. Give him ears to hear and eyes to see and boldness to carry out your tasks at the Oval desk.
Please allow Your holy Presence to attend him night and day.
Be stronger and louder than any voice out there to him Lord. Please grant him discernment.
Let him ask largely of You, Lord, without fear. Let him not be afraid to go deep into the throne of your Love. Amen.

When I think of how hard our President is working for America it moves me greatly. God has put an urgency into his soul.

We come tonight thanking you that we have wise and careful men now running this country and the great stamina they are showing in the face of such great opposition to you and your will for us. They are strong and you are steadfast in giving them the tools they need in the halls the must work.
But Lord, I would also bring Trump supporters to you in this prayer, those who for whatever personal reasons or otherwise cannot see the war that's being fought as it is, rather are looking for great victories they've determined need to be won now rather than your victories when you are ready to give them.
Lord all people are really quite simple people....but it is you who raise up great minds to tackle that which must go up against evil and oppose those minds who deceive and twist all that you desire for good........But not all can see the larger picture of what stands in the balance.. for we do tend to be a selfish people and look to what we want to benefit ourselves in our time and ways.
Lord I think of the scripture now ......”For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,”.... declares the LORD. .....”For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
With that We see that what our leaders do and how they do them we have chosen to give you to lead....but unfortunately there are too many that fail to see your ways are not always going to be understood regarding your ways with men....and that includes those you are leading in our country.
Lord only you can move the minds and hearts of people who so easily forget that you are in charge of this governing body.....that when people lash out at those serving you there they are lashing out at you. Forgive them Lord and with that help them to rest in your work and your ways when they cannot understand...to trust you know what you are doing with these men you've put in charge....and let you do it all in your good time!
We ask this in Jesus name ,.....that people who support this administration remember things are not always going to be as they appear.....that they need to stop grumbling and get back to trying to understand and seek your understanding when they can't.....That they trust YOU above all others.
Thank you Lord, for caring and loving these great men you've elected for office....we now trust you for them and for us that your will is the priority for each and all....
