Amen, Lord — hear our prayer!
Father, our God, we are here in the name of Jesus to worship You. I know You don't want us to repeat our prayers over and over like the Pharisees, but every time I pray, I am awed by the privilege You have granted us to come boldly before Your throne and cannot help but thank You...again and again.
Today, Father, we place our Nation and her people in Your protective care. We ask that our people would dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. We say of You, "You are our refuge and our fortress." As our coins say, "In God we trust."
We trust You to deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. Oh, God, You shall cover us with Your feathers, and under Your wings we shall take refuge; Your truth shall be our shield and buckler. Under Your care, we shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at our side, And ten thousand at our right hand; but it shall not come near us. Only with our eyes shall we look, and see the reward of the wicked.
Because we have made the LORD, who is our refuge, even the Most High, our dwelling place, No evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling;
Give Your angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways. In their hands they shall bear us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone.
We shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot.
Because we have set our love upon You, therefore You will deliver us; You will set us on high, because Your grace makes us to know Your name. We call upon You, and You answer us; You are with us in trouble; You deliver us and honor us. With long life You will satisfy us and show us Your salvation.”
We pray for a manifestation on the United States of America of Your promise, " For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

He is Holy, holy , holy! Lord God Almighty we worship You, for You broadcast Your love to our hearts and lives. May we walk in such a privilege daily and share with others all Your mighty works till the day we see You face to face. You alone are worthy to receive praise and adoration! Amen!

Father God, we lift up the young men and women fighting the Sawmill Fire in southern Arizona. Father, we ask for their protection. We ask that You fill them with strength and stamina.
If it is Your Will, calm the winds and give favorable conditions, that the firefighters will have victory soon.
Father God, we especially lift this situation up as opportunity to share the Gospel. We ask for opportunity for evangelism, for witnessing, for people to learn the power of prayer and that You are omnipotent. Father God, we ask that this terrible situation be turned around and be used in a way that glorifies You.
