The DOJ includes the still-corrupt in more than one
District, it appears.
This is largely self-inflicted: Pres Trump could have announced dozens of DOJ nominees in advance of his inauguration and many more of them would (probably) have been confirmed by now. Whoever told him to stay big picture and go slow on nominations did a real disservice. It would have been very easy for him to get a list of plausible conservative appointees from the Heritage Foundation or the Federalist Society, just as he did for SCOTUS.
