The Democratic Party charade on abortion is finally over.
Newly-elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has declared that every Democrat must be 100% pro-abortion. And according to an official statement: “that is not negotiable.”
What does this mean?
Tolerance, diversity, and ‘choice’ be damned. Every Democrat must now support the party platform which includes abortion on demand, for any reason, during any month of pregnancy, up to and including partial-birth abortion. And of course, taxpayers must pay for it.
The game is up: Fall in line, or get out.
The Democratic Party has told Catholics who believe in the sanctity of life that they are no longer welcome inside their party. Sure, they’ll take your votes. But when it comes to Catholics and our belief in the dignity of unborn children and the rights of mothers — get lost!
But did you know that 23% of Democrats are pro-life?
Democratic candidates that claim to be pro-life now face a dilemma. Will they challenge their own party leadership? Or will they wimp out, and continue to take millions of dollars from Planned Parenthood and the DNC, and hope to fool voters once again?
Senators Bob Casey Jr. (D-PA), Joe Manchin (D-WV), and Joe Donnelly (D-IN), all face re-election next year. All three ran as ‘pro-life Democrats’ despite their mixed records.
Will they campaign with their party’s chairman?
Will they use DNC staff, and take campaign money from the national party?
And if so, what will they owe Chairman Perez?
If you are a Democrat, you can disagree with your party on health care, religious liberty, taxes, climate change… you name it. But if you are not 100% on board with abortion, then you are dead to them.
It’s tragic. And I wish it wasn’t so.
In some ways the clarity is refreshing. We’ve endured the phony double-speak long enough.
Now it’s up to us to call them out. Shame them for their intolerance.
And make sure every Catholic voter knows the truth.

Quick! Inform the pope! He gets up in the morning to side with every Marxist Lefty on the planet, who plots to over run and up-end civiliazation. The Democrats are just following the plan.

Half, if not more, of Catholics in the USA are Democrats and are quite pleased to inflict the worst kind of poverty on the nation...the spiritual poverty of Culture of Death. Death conquers all, aye!
See here is what the democrats have learned. And our side has no clue about.
They have determined they do not need to be a majority party to rule. To their advantage they use it. They like tyranny of the minority, they get special protections and treatments.
They have entrenched enough people in various places, courts, bureaucracies, to deny the majority and elected officials from governing avainst their wishes. Dont like what a conservative is doing? Find a liberal court to stop them from carrying out lawful governing. Find bureaucrats that support you to ignore orders or use the processes in place to stall governing efforts they dont like.
These activist courts need to be ignored and disbanded. Those doing these legal hijacks need to be jailed and fined in contempt of court and for trying to ohstruct lawful governance, that they just do not happen to agree with.
Just because you dont like how someone governs forsnt make it unlawful. We need to get rid of courts and judges who take these cases. And massively clamp,down on people conspiring and exploiting the system for their own unpopular views. They lost at the ballot box. They are attempting legal ursurpation of government via activist judges. They all need to go down hard.
Well that’s silly!
Catholics who are Democrat ARE “lost”!
There are no “pro-life Dimocrats,” and any Catholics wh want to pretend they are, are just fooling themselves.
Catholic Dimocratss have been pretending to be pro-life yet voting for the likes of Nancy Pelosi for years, and have nobody but themselves to blame for the deaths of innocents.
Don’t forget Ted Kennedy.

Can’t believe the dims are doing this...the catholic vote has been one of the most reliable voting blocks for dims at the presidential level. Only 4 times since 1952 have the majority of catholics voted for a GOP presidential candidate.
Any Catholic who actually was bothered by abortion left the Democrat party 40 years ago. The Hispanics, the Catholic bishops, and other “Catholic” Democrats will take the latest contretemps in stride, and continue to vote Democrat.
One of her grandparents, at that time, were the parents of Martin Luther King, Jr -- Dr. and Mrs. Martin Luther King, Sr.
I guess the Democratic Party of today would exclude the parents of Martin Luther King, Jr. over this issue. I believe both are deceased, but would have to verify that...
This is beautiful! Tom Perez is killing the democratic party. How can anybody be so stupid as to infuriate the Roman Catholics who have voted more democrat than Republican in past elections? It is good that as a spokesperson for the democratic party, he has spoken out clearly on the abortion issue. This will cause a large number of lukewarm Catholics to examine their consciences. Abortion is the murder of a developing human being. Maybe now they will see it.
I call them hypocrites.
So when the next election rolls around, I don’t want to hear any of this crap from Dems and media lapdogs screeching that the Republican candidate needs to “moderate” his or her FAR-RIGHT EXTREMIST “anti-choice” beliefs or else independents will flee in droves.
