It's very important to stick with the preserved word of God, as opposed to those who abandon it because they question its inerrancy and therefore its authority over their lives. God's word is not just faithful it's very faithful and if being faithful equals a hundred percent faithfulness, then God's word is more than a hundred percent faithful.

Psalms 119:138
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

Psalms 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

The book of Titus speaks of being, ”subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work.” People who don't have a problem with God's word in authority over their life won't have a problem being a law abiding citizen, as long as those laws don't contradict God's word. The acceptance or nonacceptance of God's word as supreme in a person's life is always an indicator of just how rebellious their heart is.

Romans 13:1
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Thessalonians 3:14
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

There are Christians who elevate their "experiences" over the word of God. You can tell them many times over, "Look, according to what Scripture says," and they'll always come back with, “Yeah, but my personal experience is this, and I had this spiritual experience.” They don’t care what the Bible has to say about certain issues because their "experiences" are far more important to them and they take preeminence over the Scriptures. When you give your "experiences" authority over God's word, you'll have a lot less problem putting yourself over other realms of authority, be it in the home, place of work or civil society.

1 Thessalonians 4:8
He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
