And even more, a possible new invitation to King Jesus.

Oh my what a difference that would make.

Now I have to use sound theology here. Unless the elect are present, we won’t have such a revival.

But here’s where both history and scripture can offer a clue. There have been many revivals in the world, but one of note to me was in John Knox era Scotland, when at one point it was said “Christians are coming down from the skies.”

I honestly believe those stern Calvinists were so confident in the Lord’s power to arrange and predestine whatever He wanted, that they beseeched God to predestine them masses of the elect. And that God heard, honored their faith, and did just that.

I’m not saying everyone has to be a Calvinist (in fact, I technically may not be as I allow more dimensions of reality into the discussion), but they do need to have enough faith in God’s desires and omnipotence to realize that such a prayer makes sense, before being able to make it in the spirit that moves the Lord to grant it. Without faith we cannot please the Lord.

That’s pretty callous towards evidences of the work of God.

Trump looks in many ways to have found his temple, and it really is to the Lord with its altar in Washington.

Evidence is in the eye of the beholder I imagine.

Trump looks in many ways to have found his temple, and it really is to the Lord with its altar in Washington.

The only person who knows for sure whether this is an act of if this is sincere is Trump himself. And that's his business, not ours.

We can speak of the outward, always keeping in mind that, like Judas, someone could be a fooler almost to the end.

But that doesn’t provide us with an excuse not to honor the work of the Lord as best as it can be seen. Evidence is indeed in the eye of the beholder — an eye aided by the Holy Spirit. It’s up to you whether you let the Lord put those glasses on you.

I cannot say for certain if there is any one, particular incident that could have caused such a conversion, if indeed one has occurred.

However, as recounted on Freerepublic a few months ago, Kellyanne Conway reportedly took Donald Trump to meet Father George Rutler, the Anglican convert priest and pastor of the Church of St. Michael in Mahattan, who blessed the future president just days before his election.

Fr. Rutler is not just some average priest. He is one of the best homilists I've ever heard in the Catholic Church, a very pious man, a wonderful confessor, and not someone who will lob in softballs.

Perhaps, just perhaps, a combination of Kellyanne's daily mass attendance and Fr. Rutler's blessing, has had a most desired impact.
