I now see the Bergoglian rage against all things traditional.....excuse me....."nostalgic" (to use Francis' favorite term), as the culmination of the iconoclasm to which Mosebach refers. This is the final throw of the dice for the revolutionaries who trashed the Roman Rite and destroyed the churches. The game clock is winding down on this assault on the Church and Bergoglio, the only Pope ordained post-Vatican II, is the symbolic and spiritual leader of this final attack.
