It's not the same sacrifice at all.
The CCC says it's a bloodless sacrifice, which is contrary to the one on the cross which was exceedingly bloody.

Hebrews 9:22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
If there is no blood shed in the mass, it's simply useless killing.
Additionally, Jesus died on a cross, offering up HIMSELF, not on an altar at the hands of mortal men.
Also, Jesus is not forever continually dying.
He DIED - past tense- was buried and rose again as proof that He conquered death.

Jesus is not forever dying for us in heaven. His death was once fora ll here on earth.
What he's doing now in heaven is sitting at the right hand of the Father INTERCEDING for us.
