God’s protection for Daniel,
who remained faithful to God in spite of oppression:

And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

A prayer for protection of the People of God in America:

God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect. —2 Samuel 22:33

The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him. —Ezra 8:22

Father God,

You Are our strength and power, and You make a perfect way when we can see no way.

Yours, O Lord, is the victory and the majesty; all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; it is in Your hand to make America great and to give strength to all believers.

You support those who call on You for good purposes; understanding that Your power and wrath will not ignore forever those who forsake You, who discount Your Word, who look to secular sources of counsel and devise their plans not by Your Spirit, but so that they may rationalize sin.

We believers rise up claiming Your power and Your mercy, knowing You have been our defense and refuge in every time of trouble. Your awesome way of making wrong things right again has shown us, beloved God of our salvation, that You are the source of true confidence.

Even when we are old, O God, we still have a purpose: to declare Your strength and power to the coming generation: we have learned that it is better to trust in You than to put confidence in human strivings. Our Bill of Rights is based on this truth.

You are our confidence, and will keep the souls of the righteous from being destroyed in traps laid by the wicked. Although You Are slow to anger, Your great power will not long ignore evil. No matter how many political and media storms unbelievers kick up, we are not blinded by their clouds of dust. We know You Are in charge.

Believing fills us with joy and peace! We have abundant hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our faith is not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore our confidence is in You!

Neither fake scandals nor justifiable criticism bring any joy; it’s painful to see our administration attacked. But believers, having been trained to expect tribulation, wait for You to bring about the discernment of truth from fiction and to raise up the righteous action amidst partisan propaganda. It is not for us to become weary and discouraged; even Your Son endured great hostility from sinners against Himself.

And this is the confidence that we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us; because You have taught us:

This mortal life is like a field of grass, and all the glories of life are like flowers in the field. The grass withers, and the flowers fall away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.

God our Savior, Who alone Is wise, You Are all glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. You have promised those who overcome tribulations and follow Your Will until the end, to them You will give power over the nations. This is our duty and privilege as American citizens, to press on in preserving Your will in our national life.

It is in You that we support the reformation of American government, families, military, business, education, churches, and the media.

Thank You for Your Promises. May the older generations confidently declare Your strength and power to future generations.

* You commanded us to teach our children to fear Your name and follow Your Commands.
* You warned us to keep our eyes from evil and to think on good things.
* You declared we were the head and not the tail in government and society.

Forgive us when we allowed Progressive thinking to poison the minds of the younger generations, when we turned blind eyes to corruption and immorality in our society, and when we chose to remain silent in the arena of public discourse.

FATHER GOD, only You can turn AMERICA around. Pour out Your SPIRIT upon all generations. Open blinds to see, deaf ears to hear. May our nation declare, “In GOD we put our trust.”

Thank You for second chances. Thank You for the new day that is dawning in our nation. Protect and guide our leaders. May they seek Your face and follow Your Commands.
