He has a 1st Amendment Right to ask for a boycott.

And everyone else has a 1st Amendment right to agree or disagree.

I used to live in Florida, three hours from Orlando, so I went there frequently.

And NEVER went to Disney.

And That was my right.

Now, if he were advocating violence, like certain Ex-AG’s I could name, THEN he would be wrong.

Disney should officially publish its Gay Cruise dates and the dates of Gay Week in the park.

Too many families save and then find themselves trapped on a Disney cruise ship chocked full of open in-your-face homosexuals, and/or discover their on-park hotel is fully booked with homosexuals and the park is full of open and practicing homosexuals.

The author spends too much time apologizing for being Christian.

If you, as a conservative/Christian, are not ALREADY boycotting all things Disney, perhaps you need to reassess your credentials.

It is remarkable, of course, that the management of Disney is 100% in absolute opposition to its founder. The same can be said of WalMart. Consumers are the only effective control of this kind of debasement of founders’ principles.

Yes.

They are trying to pervert the minds of impressionable American kids using the old wholesome image of Disney as a Trojan horse.

When a creep in a slicker does this in an alley he goes to prison.

Doing in the neighborhood movie theater or on Netlix is the same d**** thing.

Well put.

Next movie should have a john looking over some prostitutes then picking one.

After that, a nice family with three wives.

After that, some brother/sister make out sessions.

You know, so we can “learn to exist in a pluralistic society” because obviously we DON’T KNOW HOW.

Since Walt passed away the Disney organization has progressively been turning to the darkside.

I left Disney many years ago, but I am old and my favorite movie is still Ben Hur. The penguin movie was the last I took grand kids to see and I thought that movie was very anti-Christian.

You know, it’s been so long since I’ve spent money with Disney I’ve hardly any boy to cott, so to speak.

As for the fagification of all entertainment — TV, movies, even web comics — it seems as if having homosexual characters is considered key to being considered socially relevant ... or whatever it is they think they’re being.

Meanwhile identified-as-Christian characters (remember how many claim to be Christian in this country?) are seemingly few and those that exist are often either so much like the world around them that you can’t tell the difference or they are joke characters.

Why, then, do I believe that many of those calling for a Disney boycott are being hypocritical? It is because so many of us are morally compromised in other ways, watching all types of foul entertainment (with lots of gratuitous violence and sex), allowing the TV (or internet) to babysit our kids, practicing no-fault divorce in the church, and not lifting a finger to address other, pressing social ills (like abortion, for one). But when it comes to one gay scene (which some involved with the film are claiming has been overhyped and overstated), we are up in arms.

The author misses the point that the outrage is over the fact that it is primarily a "kid's movie" and the gay crap is gratuitous and does not belong in a kid's movie. I see the point he tried (and failed) to make. But he does not know whether the people boycotting Beauty and the Beast have not lifted a finger against other societal ills. Also, other sins portrayed in films are often shown in a negative light. "Gay" is not.

An example that comes to mind that does illustrate his point was the Rice University football team here in Houston. About 10 years ago, the coach at the time got into hot water over remarks that he would not want gay players on his squad because "he believed homosexuality is a sin". Unless he was running a sin-free program, I believe it was hypocritical to single out gays, particularly when football players are among the biggest fornicators in college.

But that is not what is happening with the Disney kid's movie "gay scene".

In a first for the Disney Channel

Oh, rubbish!

Disney has been promoting degeneracy, anti-family (and ESPECIALLY anti-father) themes, and premature sexualization for at least 20 years, more like 30.

Any parent who is surprised or shocked by this latest just has not been paying attention.

When you think about it, almost every Disney movie has a kid that disobeys their parents, and they portrayed it as being justified.

What does it matter?

Visiting a Disney park costs many families THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, which, as anyone who is not blind, deaf, and dumb can see goes to fuel the degeneracy machine that is Disney.

The problem is not "too many families find", the problem is that too many families go in the first place.

Well said.

In addition to actually boycotting, it is much MORE effective to let the company know that you are doing so, and why. I routinely send my Lowe’s receipts to Home Depot to show them what kind of business they are losing to their main competition.
