Catholics in America make up about 25 percent of the population. Yet when it comes to negative stereotypes of religion, Hollywood targets us almost 100 percent of the time.
Nowhere is this more true than with gay-themed entertainment. The hostility shown toward all things Catholic made us wary when we heard about ABC's miniseries on the history of the gay rights movement, "When We Rise." As last night's opening episode confirmed, we were right to be on guard.

Tolerance for depravity produces intolerance and hatred for virtue. The truly depraved will not accept anything else as their price for tolerance.
We should not watch last night’s episode of When We Rise.

Not Catholic, but read the synopsis and took a big pass on it. I’ve got a ton of better things to do than watch that kind of garbage.

Life is too short to spend any of it on pro-homosexual propaganda.
Homosexual acts should never have been legalized in the first place; and, they should again be made against the law.

Most people in America pay a monthly bill - and a rather large monthly bill - to have this stuff piped to their living rooms.

Let’s just suppose by some mystical event, all the queers vanished. How would America survive??
1. All the big city restaurant industry would be hit.
2. The big no-one-wears fashion industry would be hit.
3. Hollywood might just crumble.
I think the rest of the country could survive quite well.
