You just summarized my in-the-works science fiction tetralogy.

I began thinking along those lines in the 1990s. Although I had scattered notes along the way, I began writing it in earnest in 2013, after the Communist-In-Chief was re-selected.

Given what Simon & Schuster just did, I am wondering if anyone will publish it - bit I ain’t watering it down no how.

The settling of America was done mainly by people wanting to escape the political tyranny of their homelands...

That is how I see space colonization shaking out too...
