“Becoming One-Standing Together,” is an interfaith gathering of prayer and celebration with immigrants, refugees, and allies. This worship event will take place on Monday, February 20 at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict the Moor Roman Catholic Church, 1500 Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh 15219. It will bring together leaders from faith communities who will lead prayers and read sacred scriptures, as well as immigrants and refugees who will tell their personal stories.

I’m seeing a lot of “Immigrants Welcome” signs on Queens area churches. I guess they must be raking in Federal “resettlement” funds, eh? Or can’t they tell the difference between legal immigrants and criminal invaders?
Why not? After all, Bergoglio says we have a "God of Surprises".

Well, I did not forget 9/11, nor shall I ever forget what I saw. The only thing these churches seem to be interested in is the sound of Federal checks being cashed by them. Funny, my synagogue is NOT sporting any such sign...and I doubt many would, unless they are Reform.

Well, I think they should be taxed if they receive these large Federal "resettlement" checks for the amount of the check. I don't think all religious institutions should be taxed. I mentioned that my synagogue (and I don't see ANY Orthodox synagogues doing it) does NOT have a big "Welcome Immigrants" sign on it. That would be the LAST institution that would want to see more Muzzlime immigrants. That's why I gave up buying Chobani yogurt--that guy imports thousands of Muzzlimes to work in his factory. I also refuse to buy any clothing or textiles made in Muzzlime countries. I'll bet you didn't know that a lot of socks are made in Pakistan, for example. Read your labels!

Trump need not take any action. At the rate people are bailing from the Catholic Church it is quickly becoming a paper tiger.
No matter how many people leave the Church, the pope and his type of bishop will continue squawking about everything Trump does. Trump needs to ignore them or run over them politically somehow. I think he will mostly ignore them.
