Heavenly Father, we come to You today knowing we are weak and in need. We often get off track, thinking we can handle everything on our own. We go about our lives making decisions we deem right without thought of asking You. In our pride, we neglect relationship with You.
But then comes trouble. It becomes clear we made a wrong turn and sometimes the consequences are devastating. THANK You God for You are a God of MERCY. You are available for us to seek FORGIVENESS. You let us start anew.
Father we pray for President Trump. Perhaps in his zeal to get things done quickly, he has forgotten to wait upon You. His enemies are always eager and waiting to pounce. Help him to recognize when mistakes are made (for they will be made) and use those mistakes to remind him of his need for You.
As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive. Genesis 50:20
Lord we ask that You turn the evil actions taken toward our President and Vice President and staff. Turn them from evil to GOOD.
We see only dimly. Let us not lose heart when it looks like our enemies have the upper hand. Let us be determined to TRUST YOU more than ever to give us VICTORY.
We LOVE You, we PRAISE You, and we give You all HONOR & GLORY. You alone are worthy of it.

Amen and thank you for fleshing out those verses. What vast immeasurable love we have been given! Amazing, considering how undeserved it is.
Our Dear Heavenly Father,
We continue to thank You for bringing President Trump to us. I am sorry that I assumed and believed that his inauguration would result in the beginning of peace for America, forgetting that spiritual warfare is alive and well in our country.
Thank You for the wins we have seen recently. We pray that You will intercede for us and silence those whose only goal is the demise of America and Christianity. We especially pray that You will continue to give physical and spiritual strength to President Trump and those who support him. What he contends with on an hourly basis is almost more than a human being can stand, and I cry thinking of the sacrifices he and his family are making to help us and those who will come after us.
If You are for us, who can be against us.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
