Former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey has shown faith in Donald Trump by claiming “he has the strength of personality to be an outstanding President”. Lord Carey condemned the “hysterical overreaction” by anti-Trump protesters to date, describing their behaviour as “reprehensible” and warned continuous demonstrations would “damage the fabric of democracy.”
