Pope Francis at Mass (2-06-17): be open, receptive to God's gifts
Vatican Radio ^ | February 6, 2017 | Pope Francis

“How do I receive the redemption, the forgiveness that God has given me, the making of me a son with His Son? Lovingly, tenderly, with freedom? Or do I hide in the rigidity of the closed Commandments, that are more and more “safe” – with emphasis on the scare-quotes – but that do not give joy, because they does not make you free." (Pope Francis in his homily today at Casa Santa Marta)

If I say what I really think, and call him what I really want to call him, I’ll be banned from FR for life.

He talks an awful lot about “tenderness,” and “caresses.”

Creepy.

You’ll be banned from FR if you suggest that the U.S. government is capable of killing Americans on a Tuesday.

the rigidity of the closed Commandments

So, where can I find more "open" commandments?

I don't think the "tenderness" and "caresses" part is creepy in itself --- great saints spoke of God's kisses in terms that sounded even more intimate than that (think Catherine of Siena)--

The creepy part, to me, is the way Pope Francis constantly sets up a false dichotomy of "love" vs "commandments". As if the Commandments were not very great signs of God's love for us (read Psalm 119, would'ja!) and as if Our Lord had not said, "If you love Me, obey My commandments." (John 14:14,23 etc.)

Okay, if he’s a saint and mystic, no problem. Of course, I don’t even suspect that he’s a saint or mystic.

He’s an antinomian, as are almost all bishops, and most priests.

And then there’s the next Sin-nod—on Youth. And Bergoglio recently talking to young people about a “revolution of tenderness.”

As long as we’re on the subject of “what about Bergoglio annoys me,” it’s the meaningless phrases. Our economic problems are caused by “the worship of money.” What does that even MEAN? Sure, a person can worship money. Fine. You can even point to stuff in Scripture that warns against worshiping money—and any other creature.

But what are WE supposed to DO about it? WHAT ECONOMIC POLICY should we adopt that would COMBAT the “worship of money”? HOW is the “worship of money” causing unemployment?

The answer, of course, is that Bergoglio has absolutely no clue. He’s not trying to communicate a THOUGHT. He’s fanning the flames of envy, rage, resentment. He’s spewing Marxist claptrap from the bulliest pulpit in the world.

He was installed by the wickedest people in the world—the Soros/UN/EU/Eugenics/De-populationist/Sodomy Collective. He is their sock puppet. He parrots their phrases-of-the-month and celebrates their World Day of This and World Day of That. A vast Conga line of such people have been streaming to events at the Vatican for three years. Pious, believing Catholics are not invited, and have been systematically purged from positions in the Church.

He just destroyed the legal principle by which the Vatican enjoys the sovereign status of a state. Watch for a quick, fatal move by the collective that installed him, seizing the physical Vatican and its assets.

Bergoglio is NOT a Catholic. It’s that simple. There is a mountain of evidence that he is not, and little more than his baptismal certificate to indicate that he is.
