If within the Christian community we cant even come to a consensus on matters such as abortion, homosexuality, and marriage, it seems to me very unlikely that we will ever get to a clear agreement on immigration. What Christians should seek, says Dr. Daniel Carroll Rodas, Distinguished Professor of Old Testament at Denver Theological Seminary and author of "Christians at the Border: Immigration, the Church, and the Bible", is a moral compass from the Bible, not a blueprint for policy. To imitate how an ancient people dealt in its laws with foreigners in that agrarian peasant context does not make sense
But this legislation was seen as judicious and as a pointer to the God of Israel (Deuteronomy 4:5-8). In other words, the law contains a set of enduring principles that can be carried across borders and across the centuries.
And just as was ancient Israel, we are a nation of laws. No man will contend that a nation can be free that is not governed by fixed laws, said John Adams. [Even] President Clinton, in his 1996 State of the Union Address declared, We should honor every legal immigrant here, working hard to become a new citizen. But we are also a nation of laws.

Churches are getting paid to flood the country with muzzies. They could care less the result.
Getting paid?

If we don't remove Muslims and Islam from our society, we will live to regret it and our children will curse us.
There is no nation on earth that once its Muslim population gains power, that nation begins to ever increase its persecution against Christians, Jews and non-Muslims. Islam is evil and from the pit of hell. The sooner it and its adherents are removed from this earth - the better.
People who somehow believe that Islam and Muslims are like any other religion haven't been paying attention. History and the Koran tell us everything we need to know about Islam. Islam and its followers are evil!
The illegal invasion is a real windfall profit, and they call it ‘charity’.
Immigration must server the purposes of the Republic and its Citizens. The welfare of the immigrants is irrelevant.
We have no frontiers needing populating.
We have no industries crying out for labor.
They bring no special skills, talents, or education to our country. They have no capital.
We don’t need them. The only people who want them are trying skew the voting demographics in their favor.
Nope
The two greatest threats to peace and liberty the world over: liberalism and Islam: http://www.trevorgrantthomas.com/2015/03/two-shades-of-dismay-perverse-bondage.html
Or, at least as Bobby Jindal put it: “Immigration without assimilation is an invasion.”
Thanks for the insightful read. Here are some excerpts that should get our attention:
Just as tragic and devastating to the concept of true liberty the world over is the plague of Islam. And no, Im not simply talking about the butchers of ISIS, or Boko Haram, or the other radical Islamists. Though most Muslims in the world arent strapping explosives to them or cutting off the heads of apostates, a broad examination of Islam is dreadfully revealing.
According to Pew polling, 99% of Afghan Muslims favor making Shariۥa the law of the landas do 91% of Iraqi Muslims, 86% of Malaysian Muslims, 84% of Pakistani Muslims, 83% of Moroccan Muslims, 74% of Egyptian Muslims, and so on.
Religious freedom in Islamic states such as Saudi Arabia is virtually non-existent. Like many other Muslim countries, Saudi law states that Islamic apostasydenying the faith or converting to another religionis a crime punishable by death.
According to Pew, of those Muslims who favor Shariۥa as the law of the land, 86% of Egyptians favor the death penalty for those who convert to another religionas do 82% of Jordanians, 79% of Afghans, 76% of Pakistanis, and so on.
In recent years, millions of Christians and other such apostates (tens of millions by some estimates) have died at the hands of Islamists.
In spite of initially being labeled as a democratic movement, the Arab Spring that spread throughout parts of the Middle East and Africa did nothing to further the cause of liberty. On the contrary, the Arab Spring further spread jihad and Shariۥa, again, especially in Africa.
Freedom House uses a scale of 1 to 7, with 1 being most free and 7 the least free, in two categories: political rights and civil liberties. If nations rate a 1 or 2 in both categories, they are considered free. For example, the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the like, rate 1 in both categories. If a nation rates 6 or 7 in both categories they are considered not free. North Korea, China, Cuba, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, and the like are not free.
In 2014, of the 10 countries with the lowest possible ratings for both political rights and civil libertiessix are Islamic, with two others having significant Islamic influence.
The Economist Intelligence Unit publishes its Index of Democracy that provides a snapshot of the state of democracy worldwide. In the Index of Democracy for 2012, of the 10 most authoritarian regimes, seven of them are Islamic. In addition, not one member of the OIC, or any other nation that would be considered Islamic, is a full democracy.
I don`t think they could care less.
