Pope Francis says he is concerned about what he calls a “hemorrhage” of priests and nuns from the Catholic church. […]

First among the factors he cited as causing nuns and priests to quit their vocations is a society that discourages lifelong commitments. Francis lamented that many conduct their lives based on “à la carte” choices. …

This guy is an Obama clone. Says the obvious because he caused it, and then acts like he can’t understand it.

Revolting. He is in place to accomplish ruining the Catholic Church and Obama was in place to ruin America.

Except he didn’t cause it. He just helps further it along.

Perhaps he should consider they are leaving because of him.

Francis himself - by his dictatorial style and abandonment of Roman Catholic Church long held traditional beliefs - is adding fuel to a fire - loss of priests and nuns and shortages of new ones - that did begin before him.

He is complaining about a matter which he is making worse.

It’s simple — American Catholics are contracepting as if we’re not Catholics:

If Pope Francis worried more about ministering to the world's spiritual needs and less about catering to liberal elite unicorn worries like global warming - - the ‘problem’ might solve itself.

Maybe future priests, bishops, and cardinals no longer aspire to being a front man for George Soros and the Globalists.

Pope F is the final nail in the coffin. Most of those individuals that become priests or nuns take their religion seriously. That would mean that they read their Bible and Catechism. I think a cursory review of Pope F.’s statements would cause any serious follower to doubt the Pope’s intentions and true devotion to the Faith as it has been practiced and taught over the last 2000 years.

A socialist loving pope has no room to complain as he is part of the problem himself. Jesus Christ is the Vicar of the Body of Christ, the Jew and Gentile church who hold the Word of God as the source of all truth and avoid the lies of man made traditions.

Interesting pictures and contrast. Socialists think, act and even look alike. Not freethinkers but brainwashed group thinkers who can only do evil, their biggest lies are written of in the Word of God, embodied in Jesus Christ alone.

Pope Francis says divorce is o.k. for Catholics, but not quitting the priesthood. Priests, but not husbands and wives, need to make a lifetime commitment.

>There actually is some logic to this. Francis easily reverts to the pre-Reformation, pre-Enlightenment, elitist views of the Catholic Church. Family life, and work are fine for the masses, reduced by serfdom and the guild system to semi-slaves. The masses may not be able to make lifetime commitments, or refrain from homosexual liaisons, or engagement in other sinful activity, but should nevertheless be allowed to join in communion with the Church, and encouraged to whatever level of morality they are capable of. This doesn’t mean the Church’s teachings on matters such as human sexuality are wrong. It means that the Church treats ordinary people as less than moral creatures and incapable of be free. Some might call the masses of ordinary people deplorable.

Exactly! Bergoglio has said he believes a large majority of marriages are invalid, he has cheapened the annulment process down to the equivalent of "catholic divorce" and his heretical Amoris Laetitia describes marriage fidelity until death to be just an ideal that most can never achieve.

He is the ultimate hypocrite.

Among Pope Francis' closest friends and consultants is Leonardo Boff, the champion of Marxist "liberation" theology. Bergoglio even consulted Boff prior to his Sinnods on Adultery.

And for a little history on Boff:

"Important to note in this context, however, is that Boff himself was publicly criticized and silenced in 1985 by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger – then the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) – for his unorthodox writings that boldly go quite far against Church doctrine. Thus, in 1992, he both formally left the Franciscan Order to which he had belonged and he also then publicly left the Catholic priesthood. (courtesy of 1Peter5)

If only Bergoglio could also publicly leave the Catholic priesthood.
