A number of years ago, I probably would have dismissed the above material as malarkey. Yet given the current state of affairs in the church and in the world, I believe it should be taken seriously. Pope Benedict XVIs perplexing resignation has been disastrous for Catholic orthodoxy, much as Obamas presidency was disastrous for America.

My guess is he’s probably not in any hurry to meet the Pope. As we know, the President doesn’t take kindly to criticism, and the Pope has already indirectly dissed him twice (i.e, the wall not being Christian and the need to avoid Hitler like populist saviors).
This is a good article. I too, a few years ago, would have thought this was conspiracy theory gone even madder than usual, but now...I’m not so sure.
