A few years ago I spent a night in a town about 200 miles north of Montreal where the temp went down to -40F (which is also -40C).At 7AM,with no water involved....and wearing a warm coat...it was COLD!
I couldn't believe that my car started after having sat for 13 hours (it was -20F when I arrived).
